El Molino es un juego de estrategia para dos jugadores cuyas partidas suelen durar en torno a una hora. El objetivo de este juego de mesa es conseguir que el contrario acabe con sólo dos fichas sobre el tablero o no pueda realizar ningún movimiento. Para ello, hay que intentar hacer molinos (tres fichas en línea) con las fichas propias, lo cual permite apropiarse de una de las fichas del contrario.
Existen distintas versiones del Juego del Molino dependiendo del número de intersecciones del tablero y de las fichas de cada jugador. La variante más simple se juega con tres fichas y es la conocida popularmente como el tres en raya. El tablero que aquí proponemos permite jugar con dos variantes: la de nueve fichas y la de doce.
La variante de nueve fichas, también conocido como Los Nueve Hombres de Morris, se considera la más interesante desde el punto de vista de la estrategia y es la más habitual en muchos países del norte de Europa, como Alemania, Austria o Suiza. La variante de doce fichas goza de gran popularidad entre la juventud de Sudáfrica, donde el juego es considerado un deporte y se le conoce como Morabaraba.
El origen del Juego del Molino se remonta al Imperio Romano, aunque puede que sea anterior, ya que existen indicios a juegos similares en el Egipto del siglo XIV a.c., así como en la antigua Grecia y en Fenicia. El juego fue muy popular en el medievo, especialmente entre los vikingos, en la Península Ibérica durante el siglo XIII y, sobre todo, en la Inglaterra Medieval, donde se han encontrado grabados del juego en claustros de numerosas abadías y catedrales.
Esta caja de madera con tablero pirograbado está realizada a mano de forma artesanal y decorada en color blanco decapado. Cuenta con un cajón para guardar las fichas y las instrucciones.

We live in Spain a we send our products from here. All our shipments are send by a transport company and the estimated shipping time for the service varies between 2 and 30 days, depending on the destination.
The shipments to USA may be delayed because of the customs controls. We are not responsible for these delays.
If you have a birthday, anniversary or special day and want to give one of our games, try to order it in advance. We do not want to spoil the party becaus the gift arrives late.
Refunds
If you get a damaged product, you should contact us through our e-mail (info@buxaina.com) and send us the number of the order and a picture for us to check the problem. Then, we will tell you the process of devolution and you will be able to choose between getting your money back or have a new product without additional costs.
It is important too that when you receive your order, you verify the status of it in order to detect any damage due to transportation, so you can indicate on the delivery order to the carrier.
In case you want to return a product, you will have 7 working days since the receipt of the package. You have to contact us via email (info@buxaina.com) and indicate the order number and the reasons why you want to return it. Once we receivethe product and we chek it's in perfect condition, we will proceed to a full refund through the same means by which you paid the order. Note thant the shipping costs will be assumed by the client.

All the games in Buxaina are handmade and it's possible to order a custom game which it's adapted to your needs.
For example, you can ask for a different color for the frame of a game, or you can include an inscription to impress in the product.
If you want to order a customized game, you just have to wirte us (info@buxaina.com) and tell us the features of the product you want. We will send you a mail for telling you the costs of the customization and the steps to follow to order the product in case you finally want it.
Of course, keep in mind that we can not accept returns on customized products.

Everything arrived in time, the only problem was it did not come painted as shown in picture. Once I contacted the shop they were quick to respond and fixed the problem immediately. They were pleasant to deal with and still delivered as great product (regardless of it not having paint). I got this as a gift for someone and they loved it!

I have been looking for a 12 Men Morris game for a long time, and this was perfect for that "original feel" that make it possible to bring it to viking fairs and similar. The price is very reasonable, but I personally would have preferred marbles or stone pieces that is larger and heavier than the randomly sized wood pellets that came with the game, but that is just a matter of what I personally like to play with. Great service and swift delivery!
